Local Bond Equals State Match

Vote Yes on Measure E: Unlock Millions in State Funding for Ferndale Students

  • Your vote could double the investment. The District has secured a $3 million State of California CTE grant — but only if local voters provide the required dollar-for-dollar match.

  • A second $3 million state grant is within reach. The District plans to apply next year to replace the aging shop building. Bond proceeds would provide the required match, potentially bringing $6 million in total state investment to Ferndale schools.

  • A brand-new Agriculture Education building is ready to be built. Grant funds would finance construction of a modern facility with three classrooms designed specifically for agricultural science — a cornerstone of Ferndale's identity and economy.

  • More career pathways for every student. Remaining bond funds would expand opportunities in Sports Medicine, Culinary Arts, and other programs — giving Ferndale High School students the hands-on training they need to compete in today's workforce.

  • Voting No means walking away from a potential $6 million in State grants. If the measure fails, the District will almost certainly be forced to decline the Agriculture CTE grant already in hand. That's millions in state education dollars lost — money that will go to another community instead.

  • This is a rare opportunity. State CTE Facilities grants are competitive and limited. Ferndale has already earned one. Voters can make sure that investment lands here — not somewhere else.

Help secure the future of Ferndale schools by voting YES on Measure E.
