Ensure healthy and safe environments and structures at CTE sites and related sites to ensure meeting all required State and local health standards and regulations.
Provide modern technology at CTE and related sites including installing or upgrading infrastructure sufficient to support modern technology, and provide modern teaching and learning equipment such as modern shop equipment, whiteboards, computers and other devices, software and other technology equipment.
Construct, modernize, renovate and expand school facilities which provide CTE programs in the District, including upgrade classrooms, labs and other CTE facilities, including improvements to and development of outdoor spaces, and other facilities related to exteriors, roofing, doors, windows, casework, flooring, millwork, painting, and lighting.
Address safety and security at CTE sites including security systems and point of entry controls, camera systems, fire alarms, fire sprinkler systems, door hardware, alarm systems, communication systems, lighting systems.
Ensure comfortable learning and working environments at CTE sites with new or upgraded heating and ventilation.
Provide new Agriculture Mechanics Shop and 2 new Agriculture classrooms.
Improvements and construction of facilities serving or related to CTE programs such as kitchens, food prep, Agriculture shop, education classroom, meeting and gathering spaces, offices, and similar spaces.
Ensure legally compliant, improved and modernized bathrooms and related to or serving students and staff in CTE programs.
Ensure barrier-free access and compliance with all requirements of the American With Disabilities Act (ADA) at CTE sites and locations and all other similar laws and regulations.
